If Biology is dragging your mock score down, this unit is often the reason, and also the fastest place to recover marks if you practice properly.
Why Human Physiology matters for NEET
NEET and older AIPMT papers consistently put a large share of Biology questions into human body systems. Students who are strong here can offset weaker Physics. Students who skip parts of Physiology often lose easy marks in mocks because the questions look "simple" but options are close together.

Physiology rewards precision. Examiners love exact NCERT wording and standard diagrams.
- Diagrams: Nephron, heart, brain sagittal section, sarcomere, reflex arc.
- Exact names of hormones, enzymes, and their source/target organs.
- Numerical values NCERT mentions, like lung capacities or blood pressure ranges.
- Compare-and-contrast points: ductless vs duct glands, sympathetic vs parasympathetic nervous system.
Keep a small notebook of "Physiology facts I confuse" and add to it every time you miss an MCQ. That list becomes gold in the last month.
How to practice Human Physiology
- Study one system at a time. Finish digestion, then attempt 25 to 30 MCQs before starting respiration.
