RankystInstall Rankyst on Android
Step-by-step instructions to download and install the Rankyst APK. If Chrome or your phone shows a warning, that is normal for apps outside the Play Store — follow the steps below.
Download
Get the latest Rankyst APK, then follow the steps below to install it on your phone.
Before you install
- Android 8.0 or later
- Stable internet connection for the download
- Enough free storage for the install (about 80 MB)
- If you have an older test build of Rankyst installed, uninstall it first
1. Download the APK
- Tap Download Rankyst APK at the top of this page.
- If Chrome shows “File might be harmful” or “This type of file can harm your device”, tap Download anyway. Rankyst is published by us — this warning appears for any app installed outside the Play Store.
- Wait for the download to finish. You can check progress in your notification shade or Chrome’s Downloads.
2. Allow installs from your browser
Android blocks APK installs from browsers until you allow it once. After you enable this, you usually will not need to change it again.

The exact menu names vary by phone brand. Look for “Install unknown apps” or “Install other apps”.
3. Install the app
- Open your Downloads folder, or tap the download notification.
- Tap the rankyst.apk file.
- Tap Install and wait for it to finish.
- Tap Open, or find Rankyst on your home screen.
If Google Play Protect shows a warning, tap More details, then Install anyway.
4. Updating later
When a new version is available, download the latest APK from this page and install it over your existing app. Your account and progress are kept as long as the app is signed with the same key.
If you installed Rankyst from the Indus App Store, use the store for updates instead of sideloading a new APK.
Troubleshooting
- Chrome says the file might be harmful. Is it safe?
- Yes. Android shows this for every APK downloaded outside the Play Store, even from official publishers. Rankyst is built and signed by us. Tap Download anyway to continue.
- Install failed with “App not installed”. What should I do?
- Uninstall any older Rankyst or test build on your phone, reboot, and try again. Also check that you have enough free storage and that the download completed fully — a partial file often causes this error.
- I get a “Parse error” when opening the APK.
- The download may be incomplete or corrupted. Delete the file, download again using Chrome (not an in-app browser), and retry. Avoid switching networks mid-download.
- My phone says it cannot open the APK file.
- Open the file from Chrome → Downloads, or use your phone’s Files app and go to the Downloads folder. If needed, install a simple file manager from the Play Store and open rankyst.apk from there.
- Google Play Protect blocked the install.
- Tap More details on the Play Protect screen, then Install anyway. Play Protect is cautious with sideloaded apps. If you prefer a store install, use the Indus App Store link on this page.
- The Install button is greyed out or nothing happens.
- You likely have not allowed installs from Chrome yet. Go back to step 2 on this page and enable Install unknown apps for Chrome, then open the APK again.
- I had a test version of Rankyst installed.
- The production app uses a different package name than test builds. Uninstall any Rankyst (Test) app first, then install the production APK from this page.
