Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Afzal Imam (“we”, “us”, “Rankyst”) for use of the Rankyst mobile application and website.

By creating an account, downloading the app, or using Rankyst, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, subject to applicable law.

Rankyst is an independent exam-preparation product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NTA, NMC, UPSC, state public service commissions, or any other examination authority.

Exam names used in the app or on this website are for identification purposes only.

You sign in to Rankyst using a one-time password (OTP) sent to your email address.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your email inbox and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate information and keep your profile details up to date where possible.

One account should be used by one person. Do not share your account credentials or allow others to use your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Rankyst. If you are under 18, use the app with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Rankyst grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the app and its content for your own exam preparation.

You may not copy, scrape, redistribute, publish, sell, or commercially exploit questions, mock tests, explanations, or other Rankyst content except as expressly allowed in the app.

All content, branding, and software remain the property of Rankyst or its licensors.

During early access, all content may be available at no charge. We will give reasonable notice before introducing paid Pro plans.

Some content is available for free. Other content requires Pro access for a specific exam.

Pro is sold as a one-time duration pack for one exam at a time. It is not an auto-renewing subscription unless we clearly state otherwise in the app.

Payments are processed in the app through Razorpay. Prices, plan durations, and available exams are shown in the app at the time of purchase.

Pro access applies only to the exam for which it was purchased. Successful payment grants access according to the plan selected.

Refund rules are set out in our Refund Policy.

Rankyst is designed to help you practise and prepare. We do not guarantee any rank, score, selection, admission, or exam outcome.

Mock tests, analytics, and recommendations are study aids only. Your performance in an actual exam depends on many factors outside our control.

You agree not to:

• Share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without permission.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to access, scrape, or download content from Rankyst.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the app, website, or our systems.
• Upload or transmit harmful, unlawful, or abusive content through support channels.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

We may update the app, add or remove features, change exam catalogues, revise content, or modify pricing and plans from time to time.

We may also update these Terms. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of Rankyst after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.

Rankyst is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rankyst shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunities arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to Rankyst shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for Pro access in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is higher, unless a higher limit is required by applicable law.
